I think it's pretty insane how technology works against us but is completely capable of bringing us together. Recently an anonymous hacker released a list of names and information of certain people allegedly of being affiliated with the KKK. These names were released by an anonymous group who literally call themselves the "Anonymous". I think it's great that we have people with powerful skills like hacking for example who are motivated to clean up the world and make it a better place. More than so I hope this type of initiative action inspires others to come together to supplement support to inequities in today's forever changing nation and world.

My hunt is not quite the easiest. In my ongoing look for sources I find it a bit hard to find a professional scholarly article bashing art students in ways my topic allow me to argue against. In the event of searching for sources Ive decide broadening my topic from "Art Schools" to Art as a whole. Thanks to Dr. Kyburz I now find it easier to get information for a topic that still touches the big problem in my mind of people disregarding art and artist.

Why do so many people think Art School is easy? something that bothers me is when people bash others for pursuing a career in the arts. Art school unlike your average general college is very major specific from the start meaning from day one you know which direction it is you're headed; however, unlike many other general college students they don't completely seem to have a since of direction. I just feel as if all art students everywhere deserve respect for what they do because it isn't easy and you don't just draw all day like most people think. Being a student who has experienced both sides of the wall I can tell you that Art school is more challenging than general schooling is, whether if you are good at your artist craft or not. Most Art Schools have professors who grade their projects to industry standards and if they fall short their grades suffer tremendously. With that being said I feel that Art School shouldn't be bashed because just like us they are pursuing a degree and they literally break them selves down emotionally to rebuild themselves into what they are passionate about.

What's to risk when attempting to change someone's life? some people refuse to make an impact in the lives of those that need it because they feel as if their selves are ok then thats all that matters. I was brought to this question after going about my day and noticing just how selfish the world can be. If you have already made your climb to the top of the ladder, then what's wrong with standing there to aid the next person behind you. I feel that selfishness is one of the truest evil's of all because it has led to an un-unionized world of people. My biggest concern is that we as people don't look out for each other as much as we should. lending one hand is not going to harm you; infact, the hand that you lend could be the hand that saves someone from falling off the edge. Be a hand to those who need it, you never know how big of an impact you can make in someones life.

How often do you lend a hand to those in need of help? One article I read about a women helping a homeless man with his poems made me want to relate to a time in my life. Most people on the average day walk past those in need of help they never do anything to help them in their struggle. Every time I bring this up I always get the "It's their fault, they do this to themselves response" but in reality some of these people have been on their own since before they were even capable of providing for them selves. When I went to school out in San Francisco for a year I was able to witness first hand the terrible homeless rate that San Francisco is infamously known for. There we're blocks after blocks where communities of homeless people would rest in the streets commonly known as the "tenderloin". I never had to worry about going through the tenderloin when I was going to school out there, but everyday I went to class I saw the same man. A man who would always, and I mean always smile. I would walk past him and speak to him as if he was a friend and when I could I would always give him extra food and change I would have. I always wondered what could make him smile while he was going through hell everyday without the certainty of having anything to eat or anybody to be there for him. Going through my miserable months in San Francisco, dealing with depression on top of a huge break up, That man I would always see in the streets made me see that not everything in life has to be miserable. Even when you think you've lost everything there is always something to be thankful for, and that is having life everyday with the opportunity to make the best of it. I learned one of the biggest lessons ever during the most difficult time of my life from a man who had nothing. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, anyone can make a difference in someone's life.

As I've had my series of mistakes with my summary paper I've gotten some good feed back on what a quality summary actually is and what it should consist of. When I started writing my summary it was one sided not because of the movie, but because of me and the way that I felt about the conflict on screen. After recognizing my one sided paper I went back to correctly explain what the film was trying to say and now it feels as if I'm speaking more from the movie.

What Impact has Documentaries had on you and your lifestyle? personally for me I haven't viewed many documentaries and its not because I don't have the time or know any, but its more of because I really feel I don't get too much out of a film that's not a narrative driven plot. Just because I haven't seen many doesn't mean that I don't have one that notably stands out to me. One documentary that I saw was titled "The World's Fastest Man" which was a documentary on Usain Bolt which is the world record holder in the 100 meter and 200 meter dash. Of the few documentaries I have given a try, I would have to say this one is my favorite.
Documentaries can help a writer by giving them a more broad explanation of today's problems and how certain people deal with them. I think something that's really important to the writer and everyone else is to know that all people are human and nobody is perfect. In the documentaries I've seen, they try to bring these idol like people down to earth to show that they are just human and just like us they bleed the same. I feel that when we know that everyone goes through something I think this can make it easier to connect with other people.
In theory I honestly feel documentary films for the most part help bring everyone down to common grounds that define us as all having the same mutual problems whether it be a global catastrophe or a commonly diagnosed illness. In shaping a writer it's important to be considerate of other people's issues because these are the people who are going to be your supports in the long run. when a writer figures out how to connect to a group of people effectively, I feel they will become an effective writer.

Why is it that teenagers shy away from their Social Media? Coming from today's generation I feel like more teenager's are shying away from the fact that they have social media for a few reasons. Today we are allowed to log on twitter to like and retweet what ever we see with each action affecting our image positively and/or negatively and in the end we build a profile that displays very accurately who we are as people. With teenagers and other young adults becoming more and more indulged in today's declining society as far as media we find ourselves building what might be seen in other people's eyes as a sour reputation to those who strongly detest who we are and what we like. Today's generation is all about fitting in and in order to establish acceptance from different social groups we have to learn to blend in; our social media destroys these chances. In my own opinion I feel uncomfortable showing away my social media to a large group of people not because I post negligent things, but because I don't want everyone to know everything about me without me telling them. By looking at my Profiles you can tell How I feel about current events, who I think is right or wrong and what political views I'm for and these are all the things I'm not ready to share with my peers because the moment you have a different view on something, You lose more than followers, and then people begin to dislike you for who you are. social media isn't exactly hated by Teens, its just that most of us are ashamed to admit we have it.
